Get ready for a romantic Bridgerton promenade of a lifetime. The popular Netflix series is heading to New York City for a big fan event ahead of the Season 3 premiere on May 16. 

“A plaza in New York City will be transformed into the Bridgerton Promenade, a bustling Regency-era market reminiscent of the iconic Bridgerton ‘Ton where fans are invited to immerse themselves in the world of Bridgerton with interactive experiences, a showcase of the new products, photo opportunities, live merriment, exciting giveaways, and more,” as stated in a press announcement by Netflix and Shondaland. The fan event will be held on May 11, just a few days short of the Season 3 premiere on May 16. The event will also be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 11 at Gansevoort Plaza. 

Netflix’s Tudum, the campaign website where fans can get exclusive content from their favorite shows, has revealed that there will be unforgettable moments like samples from modern brands, photo moments, giveaways, artisans, performances by the Ton Troupe dancers, and a string quartet. During the event, fans will be able to sign up for a chance to win tickets for the world premiere on May 13 or the special fan screening on May 14. 

According to Yahoo! Entertainment and Deadline, “At the start of Season 3, Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) has decided that she’s determined to find a husband this year, which means she has to put herself back on the ton. Since Penelope has sworn away her feelings for Colin (Luke Newton), she takes him up on his offer to help her in her quest for love. What could possibly go wrong?”

Bridgerton was created by Shondaland veteran Chris Van Dusen, who executive produces alongside Rhimes and Betsy Beers. Seasons One and Two are currently available on Netflix. Season Three Part One will be available on May 16, and Part Two will be available on June 13.
